What is The Great Duca Trade-In?
An opportunity to be part of sustainable golf by recycling/donating old and unwanted golf shoes, from any brand and in any condition, and supporting the growth of the game amongst underprivileged people in Africa at the same time. As a thank you for helping us with this programme, we will reward you with £25 [€30 in ROI] off a new pair of handmade Duca del Cosma golf shoes.
What is the discount offered?
£25 [€30 in ROI] discount on a new pair of Duca del Cosma shoes when you hand over a pair of unwanted golf shoes to your local participating golf retailer during the trade-in period.
What condition golf shoes are acceptable for the trade-in?
Any condition as they will either be reused or recycled if unwearable. We only ask that they be dry, clean/free of mud and tied together by the laces to keep them paired and ready for sorting.
What brands are acceptable for the trade-in?
Any brand of golf shoe/boot will be accepted for trade-in.
I have lots of old pairs I would like to recycle, so is there a limit to how many I can trade-in?
You can trade-in as many pairs of golf shoes as you like! You just need to bear in mind that you will only receive one discount per new pair purchased from the retailer.
Where can I trade-in my old golf shoes?
Via participating golf clubs/retailers so please check the below list of Participating Retailers which will be updated regularly. However, if your golf club/retailer are displaying our posters/collection box, then they are participating and will be happy to take your old shoes and issue you a discount off your new pair of Duca golf shoes. The trade-in is an instore promotion only, and not available via www.ducadelcosma.co.uk
How long will The Great Duca Trade-in run for?
From 1st September 2023 through until Friday 31st August 2024.
Does the discount apply to both full price and discounted Duca footwear?
Yes, the trade-in discount is applicable to current collection shoes and end of line which have been discounted to clear by the participating retailer.
What will happen to my old golf shoes?
Any pairs of shoes traded in will either be sorted and shipped to South Africa to be handed to underprivileged people to enable them to play the game in suitable footwear. Those pairs of shoes that are no longer wearable will be recycled by our partner Recyclatex to prevent them being placed into landfill.
